Our client, a leading global player in production and marketing of high technology products in the agricultural sector, is seeking to recruit a Financial and Administration Manager for its newly established subsidiary in Greece.
The incumbent will have a major role in the management activities of the Greek subsidiary and will report to the Country Manager.
His/her role will include the following functions:
Company's overall bookkeeping, accounting, logistic and financial policies, operational controls and cash management. Imports ordering and stock management.
Develop, analyze and interpret accounting and statistical data and reports to analyze operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and capital appropriations.
Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Ensure that all tax and VAT returns and issues are planned and accounted for properly and timely.
Work closely with the CBU and GM as well as headquarters to develop and implement annual budgets, forecasts and projections, and financial planning procedures. Conduct budget control.
Interact effectively with external auditors.
Collection of debts.
Office Administration
Planning and arranging fairs, seminars and training courses.
Preparing international and local correspondence and other company documents
Candidates should hold a university degree in finance and have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position. They should also have a very good command of the English language.
