The job holder will be responsible for payroll and accounting responsibilities. Preparatory payroll routines, auditing and controlling along with preparatory general accounting routines

Main Responsibilities:
Payroll tasks:

Monitor and assure accuracy of weekly, monthly timesheets and payroll data, coordinate with payroll outsourcing company, checking and then providing to the outsourcing company sickness, overtime, etc, respond to salary computation inquires for staff, check payment list for bank transfer, checking and controlling payroll data provided by the outsourcing company per month, per quarter and annually according to the local legal legislation, administration on incentive corporate program and medical program, dealing with all administrative tasks for IKA, TEAYEK, TSMEDE, OAED, LAEK, Epitheorisi Ergasias, etc.
Cooperation with: Stores, Area Office, HR dept, Acc. dept, outsourcing Payroll Company

Accounting tasks:
General accounting entries, petty cash and bank reconciliations
On top of that, the ideal candidate should have
Preferably AEI degree or equivalent in a finance specialization with the authority to sign for the company
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
In depth familiarity based on working experience with MSOffice and ERP programs for payroll and accounting
Basic knowledge of Greek Code of books and records

Solid knowledge of Greek Social Security and Tax
Solid working experience on job profile'' s responsibilities that proves that can undertake the role successfully at a well-structured Greek, or multinational company
Established experience in general office organization and general correspondence with authorities
Proactive on the improvement of the economic efficiency of the company in co-operation with the various teams (stores, area office, HR dept, Accounting dept, etc) while keeping an eye on the budget
Communication based on setting the example, honesty, respect of people and rules and regulations, approaching and motivating others, convincing, loyalty and acting consistently with clear ethic standards and values
Able to set plan and organize tasks in an effective way in order to balance efficiently between payroll and accounting (it will be initially 60% of the time payroll and 40% of the time accounting)
Self-motivated, achieving own targets and those set by others while promoting own ideas as well as those of the team
React fast to changes and new priorities while keeping dates and deadlines and drawing up realistic time windows with efficient organization of workflow methodological
