The job holder will be spending most of the day visiting medium and large scale solar power plants in order to offer after-sales technical support and troubleshooting. These projects are widely spread throughout continental Greece, so the ability to travel extensively and a clean driver's license are a must. The rest of the time the candidate will be offering technical support to small scale clients, like households, over the phone.
For this role, we need somebody who is keen and enjoys interaction with people. Our clients vary from multi-million solar park investments to households, so the ability to successfully adjust your communication accordingly is important.
However, no matter how much you enjoy people interaction, at the same time you need to be able to work alone and with minimum supervision. Our client didn't make it that far through discipline, control and monitoring of their people. The secret of their success is working with the right people? true professionals, self-motivated and self-disciplined.
Another important communicative asset is your analytical capabilities, meaning to transform sophisticated and technical jargon into simple words that make sense. Remember that our clients are businessmen, not engineers.
All daily activities are reported into company's CRM system (SAP), so having previous user experience in similar software will give you extra points.
Consequently, all the above are a result of experience, so being a Qualified Electronics Engineer, Power Electronics Engineer, Communications Engineer or other comparable profession and having worked for minimum 2 years in a customer service position with a technical background, preferably in the field of photovoltaics, are more than essential.
Last but not least, since the company offers extensive training, both locally and internationally, an excellent command of the English Language is a must. Once again, you can earn extra credits for speaking German.
