Navarino Dunes, located in the Messinia region of the Peloponnese and comprising Starwood Hotels and Resorts Luxury Collection and Westin Hotels offering 766 rooms, a Championship Golf Course, a conference center for 2000 people, and a destination Thalassotherapy-Spa will open mid 2010. The resort will feature a selection of specialty dining and retail experiences, supported by significant value added facilities within and beyond the resort to create unique experiences for the local and global traveler in the group and leisure markets.
We are looking for a Baker to prepare all sorts of bread and bakeries, who will be responsible for the section, carrying out ordering and stock rotation where necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
Assess quality control and adhere to service standards
Support the control of food cost
Prepare and maintain inventory and production records
Carry out close liaison with all section of the kitchen in order to ensure smooth and efficient service

Cleanliness and Hygiene Standards:
Be fully aware of the local health authorities sanitation and hygiene requirements and implement them it to the Food and Beverage department
Ensure that local and hotel's standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation are maintained to a high level at all times
Be HACCP accredited in order to assure full compliance with the high standards of cleanliness required
We are looking for warm, friendly, outgoing individuals to lead a dynamic team.
Minimum two years of experience required. Prior supervisory experience required. Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Candidates must also possess the following qualifications:
Must be fluent in English
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits
