Job Purpose:
The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) has been designated to recruit a Translator-Interpreter for the UNHCR-lead Project Team responsible to implement a new initiative designed to support the Greek authorities in efforts to enhance capacity and quality of asylum procedures in the context of the implementation of the Greek Action Plan on Migration Management and Asylum Reform.

Duties:
The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and will provide accurate translation (English/Greek/English) of project documents, reports and any other communications, as required. She/he will accompany the Project Manager to meetings for interpretation and will prepare accurate notes of the discussions. As part of the Project Team, the incumbent will be required to regularly coordinate with the other members of the Team.

Skills/Qualifications:
Post secondary education or university degree in Translation or Interpretation or other relevant field? Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience? Flexibility to perform a multitude of tasks as part of a small operational support team? Computer skills (MS Office)? Excellent organizational skills? Good communication skills? Excellent oral and written Greek and English language skills.
