DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
The job holder possesses excellent managerial skills with a strong technical background? coordinates all E&M activities in the region, reporting to the Regional Manager and the Corporate E&M Manager. Moreover the job holder works closely with the Project Managers, co-ordinates the E&M Design, Tendering and Procurement Departments and is assisted by the regional Business Support Departments (Finance, HR and Health and Safety). The job holder is also actively involved in the identification and pursuit of business opportunities in the E&M field in the respective region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Manages the E&M Department in the respective region
Monitors the time and cost performance of the E&M sections of the Projects in the region and provides support for their improvement
Ensures the availability and proper allocation of resources within the region
Advises and consults the Regional Manager on important E&M matters
Follows up the execution of E&M scope of projects in the region while providing technical support when and where needed
Builds and maintains client satisfaction for E&M scope of projects for the respective region

QUALIFICATIONS
University level education (or equivalent) in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
Considerable experience (15+ years) in the implementation of large scale industrial projects from the position of Project and/or Construction Manager
Fluency in written and spoken English Language is essential
Working knowledge of Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control and Budgeting
