The role will focus on providing advice and guidance to the Management teams on a wide range of contractual and legal matters during the pre-contract and post-contract periods.
During the pre-contract period he will be responsible to analyze the contracual and legal part of the tender documents ensuring that any relevant financial implications will be accounted for in the tender. He will also contribute to the preparation of Joint Venture, Consortium or other agreements ensuring that the Company's interests and legal rights are protected. During the post-contract period he will process contractual arrangements with third parties (Subcontractors or Suppliers), interpret main contracts, subcontracts and supply contracts and advise Regional Management and Project Teams accordingly. He will detect variations and changes in liaison with the Projects' Quantity Surveyors and he will advise and follow up on Final Accounts until settlement.
He will also develop claims for the recovery of time and cost losses suffered by the company and he will advise on all issues affecting the financial outcome of the projects.

Qualifications:
University degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Academic qualifications in Construction Law and Contract Advising are preferable
Achieved Charteredship in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying is preferable
Previous experience of a minimum of ten (10) years in a similar position is required
Familiarity with FIDIC Contract Conditions for EPC Contracts is required
Excellent command of the English language
Computer literacy
