Nalco currently have an opportunity for a Service Technician/Service Engineer to join our team in Greece. The Service Technician will be primarily responsible for supporting our sales organization and in maintaining Nalco's technical equipment on-site with our clients.
Other Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership and technical service to Nalco equipment
Give technical support council and recommendations to sales colleagues
Support within the group to assure technical quality excellence and timely completion of work and reviews
Facilitate communication of technical information within work group
Developing calculations and sizing of the equipment
Monitor equipment testing and assembly
Provide technical support to Sourcing, PCP, Commercial, Contracts Coordination, Aftermarket, AT, Production, Quality Assurance, and Customer Inspection
Prepare manuals of operation and maintenance
Participate in technical meetings within customer
Deep knowledge of water pre-treatment equipment such as reverse osmosis, softner, and demi plant
In-depth knowledge of field instrumentations such as conductivity, pH, Redox meters, and other various analysers
A good knowledge of metering pumps and water distribution techniques
An understanding of technical drawings and P&ID (Plant and Instrument Diagrams)
The desired candidate will have:
Degree/Diploma in either Electronics/Mechanics or equivalent
Previous experience in a water treatment business/company
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar position
Good level of English language required plus other EU languages
A willingness and ability to travel 20% outside of country
